It is the editor's ability to work with the shots and tell a story
that makes all the difference regardless of the editing system used.
Through hands-on practical training using FCP and Avid Express DV,
students are taught the fundamental and aesthetic principles of
editing for film and television, including logging and organizing
footage, digitizing from any format, basic editing techniques,
trimming, title keying, motion effects and media file management.
|
|
| Students will also be taught Visual Literacy, cinematic Concept of
time, continuity, Narrative Structure, Dramatic Tension, building
scenes and sequences, Modern Styles of Editing and much more. By the
end of this course, students will create a show reel of their work,
which they will carry with them. |
