The Head of the Digital
Academy Sound Recording Department,
Daman Sood graduated from FTII with
a gold medal in Sound Recording and
Sound Engineering in a 3 decade long
career, he has recorded more that
2000 TV and radio ads; and albums
for pop, devotional, and classical
music. He engineered the scores for
films like,Veer Zaara, Devdas, Gaddar,
Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Machis,
Gupt Mohabbatein, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai
and Qurbani. And recored music and
sound for Rudali, Lekin, Kabhi Khushi
Kanbhi Gam, Vaastav and the TV serial
Mirza Galib, Credited with bringing
professional Digital Audio technology
for classical recording in 1989 he
was also the first in India to use
automation in music recording in 1993.
A visiting faculty at FTII and consultant
to more than 32 studios in India and
Nepal, he is also a member of the
Audio Engineering Society, New York.

Mujeeb
Dadarkar is an Electronic Engineer and
is also an alumni of Full Sail, U.S.A.
He has been a recording engineer and
technical consultant to the Audio /
Video industry since more than 25 years.
He has also designed and custom built
various electronic equipment for specific
application in the field. |

has been a sound recording engineer for various
feature films, documentary films, Ad-films
as well as for music videos and live events
such as concerts of Ustad Zakir Hussain and
Troupe. |
| He
has been a consultant to various studios such
as Radio Mid-Day in Mumbai, Delhi & Bangalore,
Purple Haze, Via Media Studios, Shanmukhananda
Auditorium, Nehru Centre, Symbiosis-Pune,
Studio 16+, La Musique and Music Room, the
studio of Soundesigners, to name a few. |
